How to Grow your Dead Channel in 2 Steps Only?

Why did it Go Dead?

Ok, so I'll tell you the solution because it is pretty simple. But there are a few things without which the key won't work. So, let's first talk about what those IMPORTANT things are, and then I'll tell you How to Grow a Dead Channel on YouTube in 2022

Question No 1, Why did Your Channel Went Dead?

Answer, Because your Subscribers are Inactive

Question No 2, But why are they Inactive?

Answer, Because YouTube doesn't send them any notifications. Hence, they are inactive & don't watch our videos.

Question Number 3, But Why doesn't YouTube Send them Notifications?

Answer: Simply because they must be having a Low CTR & Low WatchTime But, Why is your video having a low CTR and WatchTime in the first place? And this is how we arrive at the Core Problem of a Dead Channel YouTube doesn't show them your video. Why?

Because when YouTube showed them your video the last time, they didn't even click it, hence low CTR. And if they clicked, they didn't watch the whole video, therefore lousy audience retention. The problem is straightforward. They are not interested in your content. Hence, your channel went dead.

Listen again, I said they aren't interested in your channel. I never said they don't like your channel. Don't say anything, Algrow. They are not watching our content; that simply means they don't like it. Right? No Brother, Understand it like this. Let's just say I came across a video related to some beauty product.

Now, it's not that I don't like the video. The simple thing is, I am not interested in that video. But that doesn't mean the video is terrible. It may be good; it may be harmful. But just because it doesn't lie in my interests doesn't mean it is awful. And this is what you need to understand. Your videos may be suitable. But you are having the wrong audience. What do I mean by Wrong Audience?

Let's say you make dog-related videos. But your audience? They instead hate them. Hence, they won't click your videos, and even if they do, they won't watch them properly. YouTube would think it's a wrong video, and you'll get a dead audience. But the real problem here was the wrong audience. Their interests and your video niche don't match.

And if this is the case, then the solution is simple. How to Get the Right Audience. But for now, How do we know if our channel is dead or not. I mean, it's not like YouTube comes and officially tells you that congratulations, you have a dead channel now.

This is simply an imaginary concept where you call a channel dead when the number of subscribers is much higher than the average number of video views. The track doesn't grow & that's when you call a channel dead. But the problem is the same, how do we know if our channel is dead or not?

So, just a few days back, I got a DM saying... I have 2k subscribers but only 200-300 regular views per video. So is my channel dead? It's a good question, so let's talk about it & then we'll discuss the probable solutions to grow a slow track in 2022

Is Your Channel Dead?

Let's forget about those 2k subscribers and talk about the average views, which are 200-300 per video. Now, just think for once. You are not just getting 200-300 views per video. Instead, 200-300 people are watching your videos regularly.

Do you realize how good of an audience it is? 200-300 people are enough to make you go viral in case of a great video. If you are still not growing, The Problem lies somewhere else. So, now let's talk about our main problem.

How to Grow your Dead Channel in 2 Steps Only:

Step 1: Identify the Problem

As I told you in the previous section, reason number 1 for a dead channel is having the wrong audience, and reason number 2 is not so good content, and tbh, in 99% of cases, reason 2 is more appropriate. I have seen a lot of channels. They don't know who they are targeting, they don't know their content type, they don't know how to make a good thumbnail and title, and even if the content is not good.

In this case, upload on any topic you want. But you simply won't get views. So, identify the problem first. Wrong Audience or Not So Good Content Ok. So now let's dive into step 2

Solving the Problem:

let's try to solve the Not So Good Content Problem. Everyone, including me, thinks that our content is always the best. Even when I used to upload on my dead channels. I always used to wonder why is YouTube not promoting me despite my channel having the best content. But when I think about them in hindsight, I can clearly identify that those videos were not the best, not even close to the best.

They needed a lot of improvement. And as soon as I realized it, I started providing valuable videos. Videos were something new in the YouTube space, and in just 3 days, Critik began to grow organically. And in just a few months, it has over 30k subscribers and is growing insanely.

Now, don't assume that knowing this, even you can grow your channel in just 3 days. It takes a lot of time. What you need to do is just improve every video bit by bit. And with this improvement, a point will come when you will have great content & hence YouTube will start promoting you organically.

Believe it or not, in 99% of the cases, Content is the Problem. So, you need to try different things. If you are currently making roast videos, maybe try comedy videos for a while. You can even invent a new genre like Tech Burner (he combined tech + comedy in India). Just try something new; who knows what you are good at. And be sure to improve every video bit by bit.

I will be uploading everything you need as a YouTuber, from how to make better thumbnails and titles to SEO, voice quality, background music, and whatnot. Before I tell you the solution for the Wrong Audience, understand this.

I will try my best to provide you with the best information available. But If you want some benefit from my article, don't just read them. Instead, make proper notes out of them. Trust me, you won't find this information even in courses worth lakhs. So, don't underestimate the knowledge just because it is free.

Buy a copy, and make proper notes out of these articles. Because until you make good notes and apply them, the report has little to no meaning. So, now it's your call. Do you want a growing channel or a dead channel? Now, let me tell you the solution to a problem no 1

The Wrong Audience:

This problem has 2 solutions. Let's just say you make videos about dogs, but your audience is interested in content related to cats. Simply start making videos about cats, and they will start watching them. But let's just say you are an expert only in dog-related videos and want to make that only. Now what?

YouTube says some pictures are better than no views. So, if you are getting significantly few thoughts. But if you are getting some ideas, then it is your decision. Make a new channel.

So now, the decision is yours if you want to make a new channel or focus on the existing one. For e.g., if you have 100k subscribers but only 500 views, then what YouTube says I that at least you are getting those 500 views. It is anyways better than getting no ideas on a new channel.

But yes, if I had 100k subs but only 500 average views, I would let the existing channel work as it does and start my 2nd venture as an experiment. And to be honest, 500 people are enough to make you go viral if you have content.
