How to Edit Audio For YouTube Video Like Pro No BG Noise/Echo

Hello Guys, Welcome back. Today, we will tell you how to make your thin voice heavier. Is no one taking you seriously? Is your voice drowning out because of the wind on YouTube? So in today's video we will tell you how to get pro in audio.

So you have made the video professionally. But if the audio in your video is not correct, then the message of video is over. So for absolutely professional audio, we have to know 3 steps. Microphone, Recording & Editing. So you will feel that mastering audio is very hard, but Yes, it is. But you need to learn once, after that it is very easy. Let's go

No1:Microphone

But first of all you are lost in this that which will be the best mic for your video. So mic you can get in every budget. Free to 30, 40, 50 thousand rupees.

Lab Mic:

Lab Mic It comes in between Rs.800 to Rs.1000 and it can be used everywhere. No matter how far you are from the camera with the help of thousands of km of wire You can shoot there too. Then comes the condenser mic which comes in 4 or 5 thousand rupees. And that's for voice over and gaming.

Directional mic:

Directional mic is used for DSLR and Vlogging, Which you will get in 10 to 15 thousand rupees.

Wireless Mic:

And let's talk about wireless mic then you will get it in 20 to 30 thousand rupees. And these are mostly used for interviews and you can use it anywhere. And some you will get more expensive than this. Like boom arm mic, which is used in movies. You can take whatever your budget is, and the lab mic is not a bad mic.

This is what I am using with my phone. It just has 4 km of wire which is always tangled. And it has advantages and disadvantages too. And if you want, you can only use it in the beginning, or use your phone for free.

Smart Phone Mic:

You can use your phone's mic. If you have any good phone then you can use its mic, that would be okay. And just keep in mind that it should be near the mouth. And you can also make a convenient video by holding it in hand. And you can also use phones for voice over.

No2: Recording

After that comes the recording part. Few things to keep in mind while recording- Like keeping the mic as close to the mouth as possible. So that the audio can come out completely clear. And the mic couldn't capture the noise of anywhere. Now look, the farther I take mic, the worse the audio will get.  And the closer I get to mic, the clearer my audio will be.

After that take care of Echo, the smaller the room, the more Echo will be.  Or there will be more echo in the room which will not have much luggage. Don't shoot in places like kitchen or store room. And keep in mind that you can put the Echo in the video, but you can't remove it. Now echo means that your recorded voice is hitting the wall and getting recorded again I think you got it. So because of that, echo happens. Audio waveform, must have read in childhood.

Echo Reduce:

So to reduce this, choose a room where there is a lot of stuff. -such as bed sofa cushions. And if there's nothing like that in the room you're shooting in. So put the curtains over there, put the cushions. If you have extra cloth, then put it on or you can also apply a towel.

Which will reduce the echo too much. You can put a little in front of where you're recording. Don't put it in front of camera you can put it in the back of the camera and some sides Which will reduce the echo a bit. It will happen that your voice will be absorbed when hit and it will not echo.

Or like all tech YouTubers, you can use it. You will get this easily online and it will also reduce the echo a bit. Second Tip Turn off the cooler and fan for a while. But having done all this, now what to do with the background noise after that?

Remove Background Noise:

Background noise What can you do for background noise? Turn off all your A. C & coolers put your kids to sleep. Close the windows and doors. Then you can record calmly If your house is on the main road and the sound of vehicles bothering you. So you record like me at midnight. And bring some energy.

No3: Editing

So now move on to the next step "Editing Audio" Now we have come to the next step, I. e. editing. Now for editing we have to use software. Either you can do it with Premiere Pro or there is a free software that everyone uses, and that is Audacity. So first you have to open Audacity. Import your file inside it. And this is how our audio is imported.

Now while recording audio you have to leave a little part in the beginning. . Where your noise gets recorded. And first of all you will select it by pressing Ctrl+A -then go to Effects and compress it. And leave the default menu as it is and OK. Now, this will amplify your audio a bit. Then after that we have to go to the effects and normalize it. Leave this as default.

Now what will Normalize do? will equalize where your volume is more or less. Now our noise has increased along with the audio, so we will select the noise part. Then go to Effects and then to Noise Reduction and select Get Noise Profile.

Then by pressing Ctrl+A will select all the audio. Now we will go again on noise reduction. And you have to preview here to see whether your audio is coming right or not. If you overdo it, your audio will sound like a robot is speaking. So from here you can adjust it. I always do it like this, this is 12, this is 6 and this is 3. . . So I'll make it 10, I'll make it 5, and I'll make it 2.

Now the noise is gone from your audio. Now let's go into effects and then filter curve equalization to settle a little. Now your bar will be something like this, just lift its left side slightly. And lift it a little on the right side also, and now preview it and see.

Ok, now the audio is coming very well, just our voice has become too much. Then we'll go to Effects and Amplify and from here we'll lower the bar a bit (-3). And now it is touching -6 to -3, so it is absolutely perfect audio and it will be ok. And for perfect audio, you have to take care from the recording itself, in editing, you can improve it a little. And for editing, I have already told you about Audacity.
