Now it is good and you will also see two different sections in the nova settings. Now the main settings tab and the second one is this style so you will have the normal settings in the first tab and the second tab which is known as style. You can customize colors in this tab so talking about colors nova launcher version 8 comes with material you theming. So you will have custom color schemes based on the wallpaper color and this is looking absolutely stunning You have like tons of options to customize.
This style section here the palette section lets you choose the color based on the system. The local wallpaper or you can also choose the custom colors which is amazing. You can also choose from different modes like light dark auto or you can also schedule the light and the dark modes in this style section.

So you have these three different tabs here the first one is this surface where you can choose from different system color palettes or fixed colors or you can also choose a custom color. As well the second section is this text color so you will be able to pick the color from the palette or change the contrast or choose a custom color.
The third section lets you choose the accent color from different palettes or fixed colors and you will also be able to change the contrast. You will also get these same options for desktop application drawer folders search bars and the pop-up menu and for pop-up menu home screen and application drawer search bars.

You will be able to change the colors as well as customize other settings directly by just tapping on this color icon here and this version also came with two additional home screen gestures which is swipe left and swipe right which are working fine. But you might need to restart the launcher to make them work properly.
You will also see this redesigned widget page which actually reminds me of launcher 12 and I think this interface is much better compared to the older. One as it is very minimal and one more update that came with nova launcher version 8 is aligning bottom immersive folders and some android 13 fixes.
